Job Description
Custom Air and 72 Degrees Heating & Air Conditioning are looking for an experienced HVAC professional who is ready to pass their knowledge on to the next generation of service technicians. This is not a position for someone who only wants to lecture from a textbook. We need an instructor who can teach technicians how HVAC systems actually operate, how to test them properly, and how to diagnose problems using a logical and repeatable process. You will teach basic residential HVAC service, maintenance, electrical fundamentals, airflow, refrigeration, sequence of operation, and system diagnostics. Training will include classroom instruction, hands-on equipment, simulated faults, individual coaching, and occasional field ride-alongs. Just as important, you must be willing to learn and teach our company's established methods, service procedures, documentation standards, and expectations. We value experience, but this position requires consistency. The instructor must prepare technicians to perform the work according to our standards—not create a separate process based on personal preference.
