Position Summary We are seeking skilled HVAC Test Technicians with at least four years of recent professional experience for a three-month contract assignment located in Virginia, with potential weekly earnings reaching $2600. Compensation and Logistics Hourly rate of $42. Guaranteed 50-hour work weeks with overtime pay for all hours exceeding 40. Daily tax-free per diem of $45 provided for every day of the week. Individual lodging is provided and arranged on your behalf. Professional references are mandatory for consideration. Candidates must successfully clear both a background check and a drug screening. Compensation is provided for time spent traveling to the site. Core Duties Assist in the final evaluation, diagnostic processes, and necessary repairs for finished data center chiller units. Focus your efforts on conducting rigorous testing of completed equipment within designated test bays. Execute electrical Hi-Pot and Megger evaluations, dry runs, energized performance testing, and wet testing to ensure system integrity. Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various chiller components, including compressors, fans, sensors, PLC boards, and modulating valves, to maintain high operational standards. Required Qualifications Minimum of four years of recent experience in industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC service, data-center cooling, or electrical controls. Possession of an EPA 608 Universal, Type II, or Type III certification is highly preferred. Technical Proficiencies Expertise in HVAC system maintenance. Advanced capability in HVAC troubleshooting.
