Appalachian Comfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, accessories, and related equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest quality standards. Pay $18-$35+ per hour DOE Spiffs and bonus opportunities Schedule Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM Overtime, weekends, and on-call rotation as needed Responsibilities Install HVAC systems, furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, ductwork, and accessories Complete installations from start to finish with minimal supervision Perform equipment startups and system commissioning Install, seal, support, and insulate ductwork according to code Install controls, thermostats, drain lines, and related components Maintain accurate job documentation and inventory records Ensure jobsites remain clean and professional Operate company vehicles safely Maintain high customer satisfaction standards Follow all company safety policies and procedures Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with insurable driving record High School Diploma or GED EPA Certification Communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments Preferred Qualifications NATE Specialty Certifications Advanced experience with HVAC controls, thermostats, and refrigeration systems What We're Looking For Proven HVAC installation expertise Strong work ethic and attention to detail Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Customer-focused attitude Team focused attitude Benefits Competitive pay Performance bonuses and spiffs Ongoing training and certification support Career advancement opportunities Join Appalachian Comfort and build a rewarding career with a company that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and growth.
