Job Summary Are you an experienced HVAC Installer looking to lead a team and make a difference in the industry? Benchmark Pro is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team in Mooresville, NC. If you have a passion for providing top-notch HVAC solutions and have leadership experience, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Installer that will install, connect, and test heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. You will lay out ductwork, connect electrical and gas lines, and ensure all systems run safely and efficiently. This energetic position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in HVAC system setup and troubleshooting while working alongside experienced technicians. Your contribution will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort through efficient and reliable HVAC solutions. Requirements Valid Drivers license. Clean driving record for the past 3 years. Personal hand tools, guages, Battery operated tools. High energy level. Experience 3-5 years minimum Duties Proven experience as an HVAC Installer with leadership responsibilities. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation, and tools used in our industry. Excellent communication and team management skills. Ability to read and understand Manual D and J provided by the manager per job. Certification in HVAC systems is preferred but not required Skills Prior construction experience or hands-on work with mechanical systems is highly valued. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems enhances your effectiveness. Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles and ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with equipment repair or property maintenance is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance processes. Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients during service visits or installations. Valid driver's license (preferably driver) for transporting tools or equipment between job sites. Certifications such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) refrigerant handling certification are desirable but not mandatory for entry-level helpers; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is encouraged.
