Job Description
osition Summary Cam-Ful Industries is seeking an experienced Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical construction, project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and client relations. This role requires a highly organized professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Essential Responsibilities Manage commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from award through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Track project costs and profitability while maintaining budget objectives. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company standards. Manage procurement of equipment and materials to support project schedules. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, or quality. Review and approve subcontractor invoices and project billings. Support field teams with technical guidance and project coordination. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with project forecasting, reporting, and documentation. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in mechanical construction and HVAC projects. Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, piping, ductwork, controls, and mechanical equipment. Experience managing projects ranging from small service upgrades to large-scale commercial installations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong knowledge of project scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience managing project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. PMP certification preferred but not required. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Viewpoint, or similar construction management software. Previous experience managing industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, educational, or large commercial projects.
