Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC/Plumbing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems. Duties Install, repair, and maintain Residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and building automation systems Perform plumbing repairs and installations such as piping, fixtures, drains, and water heaters Troubleshoot mechanical systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools like ohmmeters, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to HVAC/R (refrigeration) and plumbing components Diagnose electrical problems within HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and safety compliance Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as EPA regulations for refrigerants and ammonia refrigeration handling Skills Construction experience with installation and repair of mechanical systems in residential settings Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems and plumbing repairs Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and building automation systems integration Mechanical knowledge related to equipment troubleshooting, system repair, and maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, pipe cutters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc. Experience working with electrical systems diagnostics for HVAC equipment Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as HVAC/R licenses are a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid driver's license for transporting tools or equipment between job sites Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC/Plumbing systems Enjoy a job where you are appreciated not through money alone, but through a team environment with a hands on Owner in the field as well.
