HVAC Sheet Metal Installer Description Experience in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal ductwork, components and equipment for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The HVAC Sheet Metal Installer will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting sheet metal, assembling ductwork, and ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication techniques, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The installer must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety are essential. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain tools and equipment, communicate effectively with team members and clients, and stay updated on industry best practices. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Perform take-off from blueprints and drawings. Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal for ductwork and fittings. Install and secure HVAC duct systems and components. Install and connect HVAC duct system equipment. Seal joints and seams to ensure airtight installations. Inspect installations for compliance with codes and standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area. Collaborate with other trades and team members. Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues. Communicate progress and issues to supervisors
