Sycamore Meadows Apartments is seeking a hands-on, service-driven Lead Maintenance Technician to support operations at our apartment communities. This role is responsible for leading daily maintenance functions, ensuring building systems are operating safely and efficiently, and delivering an exceptional living experience for residents. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform all aspects of property maintenance, preventive care, diagnostics, and repairs Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance team members and vendors Oversee and handle work orders, unit turns, inspections, and emergency maintenance response Ensure timely and compliant maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and high standards of building performance Collaborate with property leadership to support occupancy, retention, and resident satisfaction What We're Looking For

HVAC / EPA

certification/license —

REQUIRED

Prior maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in apartments, student living, or similar Prior experience overseeing multiple locations Strong technical knowledge of building systems, troubleshooting, and unit turnover processes Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead with urgency and accountability Customer-oriented, professional, and able to work in a student-resident environment Must have reliable transportation as this is a multisite position
