Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing building comfort systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance across diverse commercial and residential settings. You'll work with cutting-edge equipment, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, and deliver exceptional service to ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control. Duties Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics to identify faults in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Read schematics and technical diagrams to accurately troubleshoot equipment problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and reliably. Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems and perform mechanical systems repair with hand tools. Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or building specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions while maintaining professionalism at all times. Experience Proven construction experience with hands-on work installing or repairing mechanical or HVAC systems. Service technician experience working on HVAC/R equipment in commercial or residential environments. Strong knowledge of schematics, mechanical systems repair, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration principles, and building automation systems. Familiarity with HVAC system installation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience working with plumbing components related to HVAC setups is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely; familiarity with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; valid EPA certification for refrigerants is required.
