In this position, you will assist an HVAC Technician with installations, maintenance, inspections, and light repairs. Your primary goal is to develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits necessary to grow into a skilled HVAC professional. Starting pay is determined based on skills and experience. What You'll Do Assist HVAC Technicians with light repair, maintenance, and installation work Observe and learn all aspects of HVAC systems and building performance services Maintain a clean, organized job site and properly inventoried truck Wear floor savers and protect customers' homes while performing service Communicate professionally and courteously with customers Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Follow all company safety standards and best practices Participate actively in training sessions, morning meetings, and team events Follow the company Code of Ethics and Team Rules Remain safety-conscious on job sites and while driving Travel to training sessions or meetings as required (up to 25-50%) Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Mechanical aptitude and interest in the HVAC trade Clean, professional appearance Strong communication and customer service skills Ability and willingness to learn and accept coaching Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Understanding of basic inventory, logistics, and tool management Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed Ambition to grow within the company
Education and Experience Requirements Required:
One (1) year of general labor experience using manual and power-operated tools High school diploma, vocational-technical school diploma, or GED Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred:
Experience in the trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) Experience with ServiceTitan software Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to work in tight or awkward spaces and carry required tools and equipment Exposure to construction site conditions including noise from power tools and dust/debris Ability to sit for extended periods when required Ability to travel for training and meetings as needed Pre-Employment Requirements All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of: Criminal background check Drug screening Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review All screenings are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
