In this role, you will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help optimize system performance while providing exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system operation and compliance with safety standards. Diagnose mechanical problems using comprehensive mechanical knowledge; perform plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding system status and repairs. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles with a strong mechanical background. Experience with all types of fuel oil equipment Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and repair projects. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and refrigeration technology. Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, appliances, welding techniques, and refrigeration systems. Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge complemented by field service experience in diverse environments.
