Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Helper/Installer and be at the forefront of creating comfortable, efficient indoor environments! In this energetic role, you will assist experienced technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your hands-on involvement will help ensure our clients enjoy reliable climate control and optimal system performance. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while contributing to building comfort and safety. Duties Support HVAC technicians in installing new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment, following schematics and HVAC design plans. Assist with the setup and repair of mechanical systems such as refrigeration units, plumbing connections, electrical wiring, and building automation systems. Use hand tools and electrical diagnostics equipment like ohmmeters to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently. Help conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and longevity. Participate in system inspections by reading schematics, understanding electrical and mechanical diagrams, and assisting with system diagnostics. Aid in the repair of HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment by identifying faults and supporting component replacement or adjustments. Maintain a clean work environment, adhere to safety protocols including EPA standards for refrigerants, and document work performed accurately. Qualifications Construction experience or previous hands-on work with mechanical or electrical systems is highly preferred. Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields is a strong plus Familiarity with HVAC system repair, installation procedures, refrigeration technology, boiler operation, and equipment troubleshooting is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency using hand tools and diagnostic devices such as ohmmeters is essential. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards client interactions. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is helpful. Willingness to learn new skills related to HVAC system maintenance and field service operations. Must have dependable personal transportation and valid driver's license. $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
