We are a specialty HVAC company working with high-end equipment, advanced heat pump and inverter systems, furnaces, boilers, hydronics, custom HVAC systems, retrofits, and new construction. We are looking for an experienced, high-energy HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician who knows how to diagnose — not just change parts. This position will include a combination of service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled preventative maintenance. All of our service technicians are expected to perform maintenance as part of their normal workload. You should be comfortable walking into a service or maintenance call, evaluating the entire system, taking the proper readings, identifying existing or developing problems, and explaining your findings professionally to the customer. Responsibilities Independently diagnose HVAC systems Perform scheduled preventative maintenance Perform seasonal heating and cooling maintenance Inspect equipment for proper, safe, and efficient operation Take and document system operating readings Identify worn, failing, or potentially problematic components during maintenance Troubleshoot air conditioning and heat pump systems Diagnose gas furnaces and heating equipment Service boilers and hydronic heating systems Perform electrical troubleshooting Diagnose refrigeration and airflow problems Work with inverter and communicating HVAC equipment Complete repairs and service calls efficiently Identify the root cause of equipment failures Explain maintenance findings, system condition, and repair options clearly to customers Recommend repairs and system improvements when appropriate Accurately document readings, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and recommendations Maintain a clean and professional work area Keep company vehicle, tools, and materials organized Assist installation and project teams when advanced technical support is required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can think through a system instead of guessing.

The ideal candidate is:

Experienced in HVAC service, maintenance, and diagnostics Willing to perform both preventative maintenance and service calls Capable of working independently Strong in electrical troubleshooting Knowledgeable in refrigeration Comfortable diagnosing airflow and duct-related problems Experienced with heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioning Boiler and hydronic experience is a strong plus Familiar with inverter and communicating equipment Comfortable working with modern HVAC technology Professional when communicating with customers Organized and capable of properly documenting service and maintenance calls Dependable and punctual High-energy, motivated, and ambitious Interested in continued technical development Someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship Qualifications 4+ years of HVAC field/service experience preferred Valid driver's license required EPA Certification preferred Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to perform service and maintenance calls independently Professional appearance and attitude Benefits $30
