Job Overview We are seeking 2-3 HVAC service and install technicians immediately! At this time, we are only looking to hire experienced technicians with on-the-job training. We install, service and repair furnaces (electric, gas, & oil), air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, hot water heaters, and more. We mainly work on residential properties, but occasionally we will work on small commercial sites. Our company works on existing properties as well as new construction. In addition to the HVAC equipment, we also install and repair ductwork, electronic air cleaners, humidifiers, chimney liners, etc.

Example Duties:

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, furnaces, and more. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Assist with HVAC system maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and routine inspections to prevent future failures. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations. Collect payments by cash, check, or card as needed, and provide office with any and all invoices, receipts, etc. Collect and clearly document customer information. Provide customers with detailed quotes for new/replacement HVAC equipment. And more... Qualifications Prior service technician experience in HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration or plumbing is highly preferred. Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and electrical systems diagnostics. Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with refrigerants including ammonia refrigeration systems; EPA certification is required. Ability to use hand tools effectively as well as diagnostic equipment to test HVAC equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus. Having your own tools is preferred, but we can help supply them for the right candidate. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work over-time as needed, while working a schedule that is flexible to help with a good work/life balance. You will be paid an hourly wage that will based upon experience, as well as, earn commission for new installations that you sell.
