Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot issues using tools like ohmmeters, and perform necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal operation Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical diagrams for accurate installations Perform maintenance tasks on existing systems such as cleaning, calibrating, and replacing worn components to extend equipment lifespan Assist with plumbing connections and refrigerant line setups, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations Operate welding equipment when necessary for custom fittings or repairs involving ammonia refrigeration or other specialized systems Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities Qualifications Proven experience in construction or field service roles with a focus on HVAC installation or repair Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, boilers, and appliance repair Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans accurately Experience working with plumbing systems and ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Skilled in welding, equipment repair, property maintenance, and general mechanical tasks Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC/R systems and property maintenance regulations Knowledge of Service Titan (Preferred)
