Job Description

EnviroControl Systems is a family-owned comfort solutions business that has been proudly serving Dayton and the surrounding communities for over 22 years! We're a team that shows up, works hard, and takes pride in every install. As a Lead Commercial HVAC Installer, you'll help bring to life HVAC systems across a variety of commercial projects. From layout to startup, you'll play a key role in delivering reliable systems while working alongside a solid, team-first crew.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to maintain workflow and meet project timelines Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, and construction schedules to plan and execute installations if applicable Install and start up a wide range of commercial HVAC systems including split systems, RTUs, VRF systems, boilers, hydronic piping, geothermal systems, kitchen hoods, and zoning systems Measure, fabricate, and install ductwork, fittings, offsets, and flue piping to quality and workmanship standards Install refrigeration piping and perform brazing, soldering, leak testing, and proper refrigerant handling Wire and connect thermostats, sensors, smoke detectors, and zone valves in accordance with code and manufacturer specifications Perform equipment setting, system startup, and assist with commissioning to ensure proper operation Assist with HVAC/R systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Other duties as assigned Core hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Start and end time may vary based on project need. Qualifications Experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a focus on commercial systems Valid driver's license Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to lift/carry 70+- lbs., work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces; tolerate extreme seasonal heat/cold Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain OSHA compliance.
