Reporting Structure :

Industrial Manager Primary Duties/Responsibilities :
  • Inspecting HVAC systems and their components to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems and their components
  • Installing new HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently.
  • Documenting services and repairs completed and maintaining customer records
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory of HVAC supplies and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with EPA standards when handling refrigerants.
Personal Skills:
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other co-workers any ideas, explanations, or problems.
  • Be open to train, instruct, or oversee newer employees.
  • Attend classes and training seminars.
  • Have excellent written skills to write-up work orders.
  • Possess the ability to follow through with pending work orders.
  • Maintain professional dress and attitude at all times.
  • Be available for on-call; to run after hour's service calls as needed.
  • Complete duties that are assigned by supervisors or managers.
Other Required Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
  • Must have Universal EPA certification
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical or trade school certification is a plus.
Pay:
$24.00
  • $36.
00 per hour
