The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure efficient operation. Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, including electrical parts and refrigerant lines. Operate tools such as welders and other equipment necessary for repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Communicate effectively with clients regarding system status, repairs needed, and maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on-site. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVAC systems. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to use personal vehicle (mileage and time reimbursed) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
