Company Overview Tru North Heating & Air is a small but fast growing company based in Downingtown Pa. It is owned by Ray Stubbs, a veteran and local who grew up in the area most of his life. His wife and daughter also work at the company. The company has a very strong family feel; staff genuinely care for one another, and many know each other from outside work. The environment is very laid-back. The workload is plentiful, not generally overwhelming, but the company's willingness to go beyond the daily grind shines the most. We currently have about 20 staff members and are currently focused on building and growing the service department. Our service technicians earn well here. We have multiple service technicians whom we trained from scratch who are earning $140-$150k with just 2 years in the field. These technicians are skilled in Electric AC and Heat, Boilers, Geo, Oil Systems, Mini Split repairs and all forms of IAQ. We felt it was possible for us to train people to perform like this in two years, and now that we have proven platforms, we feel there is no reason why someone with significant experience should struggle to perform just as well if not better, under our guidance. We spend ALOT of time focusing on how to build value with the customer through integrity-based communication blended with superior technical understanding. It's one thing to be expertly knowledgeable in HVAC, but if you cannot explain it to the customer, they will struggle to feel confident enough to accept your recommendations. We also have significant opportunity to advance, as the company has grown 1500% in the last 5 years! As we expand into more service tech positions, our goal is not to flood the floor with techs-which would wash out our current techs income stream, but to find the perfect person or 2 who can fully embrace what we are building and therefore blend well with the existing staff by carrying their share of the workload. Integrity is key, a strong work ethic is essential, and teamwork is a must here. Diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems and provide effective solutions. Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical principles. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction. Familiarity with safety standards in HVAC work is preferred.
