They ensure guest comfort, fix breakdowns in guest rooms or public spaces, and run routine preventive checks to keep energy costs low.

Responsibilities Repair and Service:

Fix broken AC units, fan coil units, chillers, and exhaust fans promptly.

Preventive Maintenance:

Clean coils, change filters, and check system performance on a regular schedule.

Guest Response:

Answer urgent calls from guest rooms or public areas regarding temperature or airflow issues.

Refrigerant Management:

Monitor and adjust refrigerant levels safely according to environmental laws.

Record Keeping:

Log daily work, track parts inventory, and report major issues to the engineering manager.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or GED; a technical trade certificate in HVAC or refrigeration is preferred.

Experience:

2 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with commercial cooling or hospitality systems.

Certifications:

Universal CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) certification for handling refrigerants and a valid driver's license.

Physical Skills:
