Role Description The HVAC Installation Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Lewisberry, PA. This role is responsible for installing, replacing, and commissioning heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and manufacturer specifications, setting and connecting HVAC equipment, running ductwork and refrigerant lines, and ensuring systems meet code and safety requirements. The mechanic will perform basic and advanced system checks, troubleshoot installation issues, and collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers, explaining system operation, and documenting work performed to support warranty and service records. Qualifications Strong HVAC installation skills, including system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience with Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair for HVAC equipment. Effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally on-site. Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and proper use of HVAC tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and installation instructions. Physical capability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Lewisberry, PA. Relevant HVAC certifications or trade school training; EPA certification for refrigerant handling is preferred.
