This energetic position combines technical expertise with customer-focused sales, empowering you to troubleshoot, install, and service a wide range of HVAC systems. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will help ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system performance. Responsibilities Engage with customers to assess their HVAC needs and recommend tailored solutions, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction. Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues related to electrical diagnostics, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Utilize hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify faults and execute effective repairs on HVAC/R equipment. Conduct system inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards such as EPA regulations and electrical codes; perform routine maintenance to optimize system efficiency. Assist in the installation of HVAC system components while adhering to safety protocols; coordinate with field service teams for seamless project execution. Maintain detailed records of service activities, equipment repairs, and system upgrades; communicate clearly with clients about work performed and future maintenance needs. Skills Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation. Service technician experience with hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and building automation systems. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is highly desirable. Knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration processes including ammonia refrigeration systems, and electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters. Proficiency in using hand tools for repairs and installations; experience with equipment troubleshooting to resolve complex mechanical or electrical issues. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients; commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences. Valid driver's license (including driver if applicable), EPA certification for refrigerants, and relevant licenses for HVAC/R work are required or preferred. Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems integration, appliance repair, air conditioning units, and maintenance procedures enhances your versatility in this role.
