Position Overview Comfort Zone has proudly served Lee County since 1985 as a locally owned and operated air conditioning company. We're looking for a technician who takes pride in doing things the right way: clean work, accurate diagnostics, and consistent execution. THE ROLE

This is a hybrid role — you'll be doing both installations and service work. Some days you're running installs and changeouts; other days you're on service calls diagnosing and repairing systems. Day to day, you will: Install and change out residential and light commercial HVAC systems Run service calls, diagnose issues, and complete repairs Perform preventive maintenance with thoroughness and proper documentation Read and follow wiring diagrams and system schematics Maintain a clean, organized truck and job site Communicate clearly with dispatch on job status and next steps Interact professionally with customers If your background is install-heavy, that's fine. You'll build your diagnostic and service skills with support from our senior techs, and take on more service work as you grow. On service calls, you'll be expected to: Identify legitimate issues or risks within a system Clearly explain those findings to the customer Make straightforward, honest recommendations when needed This is not a high-pressure sales role. Your job is to identify real system issues, explain them clearly, and make honest recommendations. Quality work and straightforward communication come first.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3+ years of HVAC install experience, residential and light commercial Some service or diagnostic experience a plus EPA Certification required Comfortable reading schematics and wiring diagrams Valid driver's license with a clean record Detail-oriented and process-driven Reliable and consistent in daily execution Clear, direct communicator You don't need to be outgoing. You do need to be precise, steady, and coachable.
