Requirements:
RI Refrigeration License We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed HVAC Service Technician or Licensed HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate clearly with homeowners. Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment. Install and service commercial rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, VRF/VRV systems, boilers, chillers, makeup air units, unit heaters, exhaust fans, and other commercial HVAC equipment. Perform equipment startups, commissioning, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and system inspections. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues involving compressors, capacitors, contactors, transformers, relays, control boards, thermostats, ECM motors, variable-speed motors, low-voltage controls, and other HVAC components. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to accurately diagnose and repair HVAC systems. Install and work with refrigerant piping, line sets, ductwork, air distribution systems, controls, and associated HVAC components. Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, leak detection, pressure testing, system charging, and refrigerant repairs in accordance with applicable regulations and industry standards. Complete HVAC installations, including equipment placement, piping, ductwork, electrical connections, controls, system startups, and commissioning. Perform airflow adjustments and verify proper system operation, efficiency, and performance. Respond to commercial service calls, accurately diagnose system issues, and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
