Greenville, SC Pay:
Up to $29.50 per hour Fluor is seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our facilities maintenance team supporting the Michelin Prime facility in Greenville, SC. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems to ensure reliable operation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and humidity-control equipment throughout the site. This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM , with overtime and emergency call-in opportunities as business needs require. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment. Maintain and repair rooftop units (RTUs), air conditioning systems, heating equipment, and exhaust fans. Monitor and verify proper operation of temperature and humidity control systems. Diagnose and resolve cooling, heating, ventilation, and humidity-related issues. Support the facilities maintenance team with general maintenance activities as needed. Respond to scheduled and emergency overtime, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays. Follow all Fluor safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements. Work safely around electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and facility operations. Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of industrial HVAC experience . Experience performing HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical equipment. Basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills. Experience working with 3-phase power systems and low-voltage AC/DC control circuits (600 VAC nominal or less). Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices. Ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals and industrial equipment. Valid driver's license. Preferred Technical school or trade school certificate in HVAC, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or a related field. Level I Cable Installer Certification. Additional industrial maintenance experience.
