HVAC Service Technician Location:

Role Overview:

The HVAC Service Technician maintains, diagnoses, and repairs commercial HVAC systems across client sites, combining technical expertise with strong customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Review work orders and coordinate daily with dispatch. Travel to client sites to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems. Perform preventative maintenance on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and split systems. Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and repair or replace components. Service large-scale systems (DX up to 25 tons, water-cooled units, heat pumps). Conduct maintenance tasks (cleaning coils, replacing belts, system start-ups). Communicate system status and recommendations to clients. Accurately document work, parts, and performance in CMMS.

Success Metrics:

High first-time fix rate and reduced callbacks. Strong system uptime and PM completion rates. Positive customer satisfaction and retention. Accurate, timely documentation. Compliance with safety and EPA standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (Trade School preferred). 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience. EPA Universal Certification. Experience with large systems and controls (DDC, pneumatic, electronic) preferred. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Valid driver's license with clean record. Ability to work independently and participate in on-call rotation. Commitment to safety and professional standards.
