Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive efficient, safe, and lasting solutions while upholding our commitment to exceptional service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics effectively. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan. Repair or replace mechanical components using hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques. Collaborate with customers to explain repairs, answer questions, and provide maintenance advice to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports for all work performed. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with construction experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and repair. Familiarity with electrical systems troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as HVAC or appliance repair are a plus. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration or boiler systems is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate hand tools safely.
