Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems in commercial and residential settings Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and extend lifespan Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques Conduct mechanical systems repair including plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical systems to resolve operational problems promptly Troubleshoot complex equipment failures using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and system performance for ongoing monitoring and compliance Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions Skills Construction experience with knowledge of building codes and installation procedures Service technician experience with hands-on repair of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and system installation techniques Proficiency in plumbing, electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, appliances, and property maintenance Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and specialized diagnostic equipment Experience with building automation systems (BAS) for controlling HVAC functions efficiently Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of HVAC/R safety standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Valid van driver's license for on-site travel between job sites as needed Join our team if you're ready to bring your expertise in HVAC technology to a company committed to innovation and excellence.
