The Role As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll run residential service calls, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in customers' homes. This is a customer-facing role for a seasoned professional: someone who can troubleshoot independently, communicate options clearly, and represent the company well on every call. What You'll Do Run residential service and maintenance calls: diagnose, quote, and complete repairs on heating and cooling systems Service a full range of residential equipment: heat pumps, gas furnaces, dual-fuel systems, air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, and air handlers Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups, and catch system issues before they turn into failures Present findings and repair or replacement options to homeowners clearly and honestly Generate replacement leads and turn over opportunities to comfort advisors when systems are at end of life Document work accurately, capture photos, and process invoices through our field service software Keep a clean, organized, fully stocked service vehicle What We're Looking For 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience; you run your own calls and diagnose confidently without hand-holding Strong diagnostic skills across heat pumps, gas furnaces, and split systems. Middle Tennessee runs a mix of straight-cool, heat pump, and dual-fuel equipment, so range matters here EPA 608 Universal Certification (required) Professional presentation and strong communication skills, comfortable in customers' homes and good at building trust Experience with options-based or flat-rate service presentations a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Able to pass a background check and drug screening Physically able to lift 75+ lbs, work in tight crawl spaces and hot attics, and cover a wide service territory in Nashville summer heat and winter cold snaps Nice to Have NATE certification Experience with ductless and mini-split systems (Mitsubishi, Daikin) Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service software Light commercial experience Tennessee HVAC contractor license, or coursework toward one, if you're building toward a lead or supervisory track What We Offer Competitive pay with performance incentives Company vehicle, fuel card, phone and tablet provided Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Paid training and manufacturer certifications Year-round work.
