We are seeking an energetic and experienced SR/Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC system installations, including air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, boilers, and building automation systems. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Perform comprehensive HVAC system repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting using electrical diagnostics, ohmmeters, hand tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems related to HVAC/R equipment to identify faults efficiently. Collaborate with team members and clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance procedures clearly. Ensure compliance with EPA regulations for refrigerants and other environmental standards during installation and servicing. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs. Mentor junior technicians on best practices for mechanical systems repair, equipment troubleshooting, and safety protocols. Oversee inventory of tools, parts, and equipment necessary for installation projects while ensuring proper usage and safety standards are maintained. Experience Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC system installation and repair. Service technician experience with a focus on HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems diagnostics, and plumbing is highly desirable. Hands-on experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus for specialized environments. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver preferred. Relevant certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical diagnostics are advantageous.
