Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ammonia refrigeration setups. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting, leak detection, and appliance repair as needed. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication or component replacement. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service calls while maintaining punctuality and professionalism on each job site. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction environments or property maintenance settings. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, welding techniques, and electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of mechanical systems such as pumps, fans, ductwork installation/repair, and appliance repair is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Prior experience working with property management teams or commercial clients is a plus.
