Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and install a variety of air conditioning and related equipment. This full-time position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic service environment, supporting residential, commercial, and industrial clients. A valid driver's license is required to facilitate field service operations across multiple sites. 90 day probation to ensure employee working quality and work ethic meet standards is enforced. Minimum 4 year experience in refrigeration and air conditioning. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, and HVAC design plans to ensure proper installation and service procedures. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Conduct plumbing and electrical work related to HVAC systems as needed. Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as multimeter and other diagnostic equipment. Repair or replace components such as compressors, fans, motors, TXV, capacitors & controls. Braze or perform equipment repairs requiring mechanical skills or welding expertise. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all service activities and maintain a clean work environment. Document service activities accurately for customer records and warranty purposes. Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems when necessary. Skills Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar field service role with construction or appliance repair background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge including refrigeration systems, and HVAC/R systems. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. Experience with plumbing, electrical wiring, welding, and equipment repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems. Knowledge of field service procedures including troubleshooting complex systems on-site. Proficiency with tools such as multimeter, pressure gauges, power tools and other diagnostic devices used in equipment repair. Valid driver's license for transportation between job sites.
