Trevino is hiring experienced HVAC duct installers for residential new-construction projects throughout the Rio Grande Valley. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least two years of verifiable, hands-on experience installing residential HVAC duct systems . Responsibilities Install complete duct systems in new residential construction Install ductboard, flex duct, plenums, transitions, boots, collars, dampers and supply and return air components Lay out duct systems according to plans and job requirements Measure, cut, assemble, hang and properly support ductwork Install supply registers, return grilles and related HVAC components Seal duct connections to reduce air leakage Maintain proper duct sizing, routing and airflow Coordinate with HVAC installers, supervisors and other construction trades Identify installation problems before they create delays or callbacks Maintain clean, organized and professional jobsites Follow company procedures, building codes and safety requirements Complete assigned work accurately and on schedule Minimum Requirements At least two years of proven residential HVAC duct-installation experience Experience working specifically in residential new construction Ability to install a complete duct system with limited supervision Knowledge of ductboard, flex duct, plenums, boots, collars and proper sealing methods Ability to read HVAC layouts, measurements and basic construction plans Comfortable working in attics, on ladders and in hot conditions Able to lift and carry HVAC materials and equipment Must have reliable transportation to report to work Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Must be dependable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Must be able to pass the company's hiring and background-screening requirements

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
