The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to work independently in various environments. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning systems, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system designs and layouts. Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting issues in residential and commercial settings. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Build and weld components as necessary for system repairs or modifications. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. Collaborate with other technicians or tradespeople as needed for complex projects or installations. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of HVAC/R. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for service calls is required. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to work tasks. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Certification in HVAC or relevant fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to pursue further education is encouraged.
