Job Description
Air Compressor Technician San Juan, TX 78589 From $4,000 a month - Full-time From $4,000 a month - Full-time We are seeking a skilled and dependable Compressed Air Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining compressed air systems, with a strong background in HVAC or industrial mechanical systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressed air systems and related equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on air compressors, dryers, filters, piping systems, and associated controls. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using appropriate testing equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Inspect systems for efficiency, leaks, and safety compliance. Recommend repairs, upgrades, and energy-saving solutions to customers. Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation. Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment status and repair recommendations. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Qualifications 2+ years of experience servicing compressed air systems, industrial equipment, or HVAC systems. HVAC certification or related technical training preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, refrigerated and desiccant dryers, and air treatment equipment is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in industrial environments. Preferred Skills Experience with PLC controls and VFDs. EPA Universal Certification is a plus. Familiarity with industrial piping systems. Strong customer service and communication skills. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
