Job Description
Commercial HVAC Foreman | St. George, UT Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Commercial HVAC Foreman for a leading company that supports large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC leader who thrives in commercial construction environments and has a proven track record overseeing installation crews, coordinating large projects, and delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently. If you're a licensed HVAC professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing commercial mechanical systems, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on active construction sites. Plan daily jobsite activities and delegate work effectively. Coordinate HVAC installations according to blueprints, engineered plans, and project specifications. Oversee installation of ductwork systems, rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, refrigerant piping, ventilation systems, HVAC controls, and mechanical equipment. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety requirements, and local mechanical codes. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors. Manage manpower, tools, materials, and jobsite resources. Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and junior HVAC installers. Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve field issues. Assist with system startup, project punch lists, and final project completion. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site. Help keep projects on schedule and within budget. Qualifications Utah Journeyman HVAC License required. Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience required; 8-10+ years preferred. Experience managing and operating large-scale commercial construction projects. Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills. Must have your own HVAC tools. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. EPA Certification preferred. Previous experience as an HVAC Foreman, Lead HVAC Installer, HVAC Supervisor, or Mechanical Foreman preferred. Experience with VRF systems, boilers, chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), controls integration systems, and commercial mechanical construction preferred. Experience overseeing multi-phase commercial construction projects preferred. Preferred candidates should be prepared to discuss: The largest commercial HVAC projects they have managed. Crew sizes they have supervised and how manpower was coordinated. Project budgets, timelines, and overall scope of work. Challenges encountered while leading crews and how they were resolved. Examples of maintaining project schedules while upholding quality and safety standards. Pay $32.00
