About Us:

 NexGen HVAC Services is a family and locally owned and operated commercial HVAC company in Norfolk, VA serving the Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a motivated commercial install technician to be an important member of our growing team. Must have commercial HVAC install experience in some of the following tasks: installing split systems, RTU's, air handlers, and the ability to install a wide variety of types of commercial HVAC systems.

Hourly Rate:

 $20-$35 based on skills and experience

Experience Required:

 3+ years

Qualifications/Skills:

 HS diploma/GED equivalent, EPA Universal Certification, HVAC Journeyman/Master certification a plus Can read the basics of MEP prints, including equipment locations, piping runs, and equipment schedules. Can perform fundamental install tasks such as brazing, flaring, cutting and fabricating Unistrut and threaded rod without instruction. Pride in craftsmanship and performing the job correctly Ability to work well with others Ability to work well alone Well-rounded refrigeration, electrical, and unit control install and configuration experience Internally motivated, driven, team-oriented, and is looking to further build on their current skill sets Must possess good people skills, work with integrity, and want to be an integral part of a growing, family-owned and operated company Must pass background check and drug screening
