Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults accurately. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to optimize performance and extend system lifespan. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to facilitate precise repairs and installations. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure HVAC systems meet safety standards and regulatory compliance (EPA certification required). Skills Extensive construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC systems repair and maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and electrical diagnostics using specialized tools like ohmmeters. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles during installation or repair projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques for diverse equipment types. Knowledge of HVAC/R standards, boiler operation, property maintenance practices, and air conditioning systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver requirements preferred.
