Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer or Service Technician, where you'll play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, geothermal, and ventilation systems according to schematics and design specifications Conduct system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment such as filters, belts, motors, and controls to ensure optimal performance Repair and replace faulty components in HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration lines, electrical wiring, and mechanical parts Interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to facilitate accurate installations and repairs Diagnose electrical system issues using electrical diagnostics tools and resolve problems related to electrical systems in HVAC equipment Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance needs clearly to clients Requirements Proven construction experience with hands-on installation skills in HVAC or related mechanical systems Service technician experience with troubleshooting HVAC/R equipment and performing repairs Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles Knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration cycles, ammonia refrigeration (nice-to-have), and building automation systems Mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair mechanical systems such as boilers and ventilation units Proficiency with hand tools and equipment repair techniques for HVAC system installation and maintenance Electrical diagnostics expertise for troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC units Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling (EPA 608 Certification) required Experience with electrical systems troubleshooting and appliance repair preferred Ability to work independently in the field as well as part of a team; valid van driver's license preferred Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to client interactions Join us if you're passionate about delivering high-quality HVAC solutions!
