Install Helper - Level 1 Job Summary The Install Helper - Level 1 is an entry-level HVAC installation position responsible for assisting Lead Installers with the installation and replacement of residential heating and cooling equipment. This position focuses on learning proper installation procedures, developing basic HVAC skills, maintaining a clean and safe jobsite, and providing reliable support to the installation team. Skills Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to follow instructions and learn HVAC installation procedures Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to measure accurately and perform basic math Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain an organized and clean work area Willingness to learn HVAC equipment, materials, and terminology Ability to safely load, unload, and transport equipment and materials Dependable and able to work efficiently as part of an installation crew Basic customer-service skills when working in customers' homes Requirements EPA Certifcation preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record High school diploma or GED preferred HVAC experience not required ; willingness to learn is required Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying HVAC equipment and materials Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, and other confined or uncomfortable areas Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely use ladders and basic hand and power tools Must follow company safety procedures and use required PPE Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow direction from Lead Installers and supervisors Willingness to participate in company training and develop HVAC installation skills

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
