Role Summary:
As an Assembly Mechanic at PDS Tech Commercial, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of machinery by constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment and components. Your responsibilities will include identifying parts for replacement, ordering new parts, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Construct and Assemble:
Assemble mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintenance and Testing:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Conduct tests to verify functionality and safety.
Part Identification:
Identify parts that require replacement due to wear, damage, or malfunction.
Order Placement:
Place orders for new parts as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
Education and Training:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in the relevant specialty may also be necessary.
Experience:
May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Supervision:
Work under immediate supervision, following pre-established guidelines.
Reporting:
Typically report to a supervisor or manager.

Physical Demands:
Lifting is generally at or below 30 lbs without significant repetitions.
Exposure Risks:
Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological agents, and physical risks.
Equipment Operation:

Pay Details:
