ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are partnering with an established manufacturing company in Buena Park, CA that is seeking two experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for its 3rd shift . This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Monday - Friday ( Saturdays As Needed) 3rd Shift Full-time position Overtime may be required based on production needs
Pay:
$25.60-$30.60/hour DOE Additional $0.60/hour 3rd-shift differential The $30.00/hour rate is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates.
JOB DUTIES
Perform set-up, adjustment, and timing of production equipment Troubleshoot defective production equipment and complete necessary repairs Inspect machinery after repairs to ensure proper operation and performance Perform preventive maintenance inspections and complete assigned work orders Document preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and work-order activity Maintain and repair equipment including bottle and can fillers, cappers, case packers, case formers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors, pumps, automated valves, and motors Overhaul and rebuild equipment and component assemblies Perform repairs utilizing welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and machine-shop skills Perform maintenance welding and soldering for equipment and component repairs Fabricate parts, balance machinery, and perform minor machine-design modifications Read and work from equipment manuals Perform additional maintenance duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Industrial Maintenance Experience
REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanic or electrician in an industrial environment , or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience working with production and manufacturing equipment Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems Experience using hand and machine-shop tools, including drill press and hydraulic press Welding experience with stick, TIG, and gas/oxyacetylene Experience using milling machines and lathes Ability to use electronic and instrument test equipment, alignment equipment, and micrometers Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and complete repairs safely and efficiently
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience working with automated production equipment such as: Filling and packaging equipment Conveyors and palletizers Pumps and automated valves Motors Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Industrial electrical systems High-speed manufacturing or production equipment
