Job Description
We are a food manufacturing company in Los Angeles specializing in Asian foods, including egg rolls, wontons, fortune cookies, and more. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair facility equipment and help prevent downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and install equipment according to food safety and company standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform regular equipment inspections and communicate issues, repairs, and concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor .
- Use Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) when working on equipment
- Assist with other maintenance work as needed
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Electrical experience and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
