The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, with an emphasis on safety and quality. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to boilers, HVAC systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and analysis skills to develop effective solutions. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any operational concerns in a timely manner. Assist in training new staff on equipment operation and safety protocols as needed. Experience Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Familiarity with welding techniques and practices is a plus. Previous experience as an industrial electrician is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team, showcasing strong customer service skills.
