Sun-Friday or Monday-Saturday About YOUR Role:
The primary function of a Maintenance Multi-Tech is to perform diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques on equipment and systems, perform upgrades and repairs to existing equipment and systems to improve the performance, reliability, and Absolute Safety of the equipment and systems. The Multi-Tech must perform electrical and mechanical installations, program PLC's, reset faults, and identify root causes of failures. Must be able to lead and develop the skills of other members of the team.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Maintains a clean, safe work area always. Comply with all GMP requirements. Dismantling equipment, removing defective parts, and reassembling without supervision. Using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and blueprints to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install equipment or systems. Using electronic Work Order system to plan, execute, and record corrective actions with as much detail as possible. Identify and install upgrades, improvements, or substitute parts and components. Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations. Perform repairs and fabrications utilizing lathes, milling machines, saws, and drill presses. Perform quality welding repairs utilizing Mig, Tig, and stick welding equipment. A thorough understanding of ladder logic and skilled at writing PLC logic programs. Perform troubleshooting and configuration of Ethernet/IP Systems. Use advanced test and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve problems with complex equipment and solutions. Design, fabrication, and installation of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Train the operations of new and existing equipment and systems to others and develop their skills and understanding of the equipment. Follow complex procedures, do preventative maintenance, and find hidden defects and correct, also update equipment. Troubleshoot, identify, and record root causes of failure. Identify recurring issues and document fixes for future reference. Perform mathematical calculations that assist in fabrication and evaluation of performance of equipment. All other duties as assigned.
Accountability:
A Maintenance Multi-Tech will be accountable to the Maintenance Supervisor for fulfillment of his or her duties. The performance of a Maintenance Multi-Tech will be measured to the degree of his or her production levels and quality of work performed in these assigned areas. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a bakery and/or food & beverage manufacturing environment. Experience with HACCP, AIB, NSF, and SQF standards preferred. Education and/or Experience High School or equivalent as a minimum with technical school or degree in advanced electronics and PLC programming preferred. Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Millwright skills. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, high speed packaging equipment and bakery equipment a plus. #IND1
