Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic II and become a vital part of ensuring our production facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, optimize equipment performance, and uphold safety standards across our manufacturing facility. The positions we are looking to fill are Shift B (Mid) and Shift C (Nights) Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose low voltage issues, electrical troubleshooting, and system failures. Operate precision measuring instruments for alignment and calibration of machinery to ensure high-quality standards. Use welding skills—including welding—along with hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting to restore equipment functionality efficiently. Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to perform complex repairs or modifications on industrial systems. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical systems, heavy machinery operation (such as scissor lifts), and welding activities. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting projects or equipment upgrades that enhance operational efficiency. Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment maintenance or repair options when needed. Experience Proven 2 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility with a strong background in industrial mechanic roles. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and performing equipment repairs in an industrial setting. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is highly preferred. Skilled in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documentation. Experience operating low voltage systems and performing electrical maintenance within industrial environments. Strong analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively resolve technical issues while supporting team needs.
