Job Overview Operator I We're looking for a hands-on Operator I, to support the reliability and efficiency of production equipment and facility systems. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new systems, and working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Your work will help keep operations running safely, smoothly, and with minimal downtime. Essential Responsibilities Maintenance & Operations Support Complete assigned work orders, including preventive and demand maintenance Perform basic repairs involving building infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems Support maintenance of manual and CNC production equipment with limited supervision Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and facility issues in a timely manner Conduct routine inspections of facility systems Use diagnostic tools and standard repair techniques to identify and resolve issues Follow established work instructions, including PM tasks, continuous improvement efforts, installations, and refurbishments Update spare parts usage and identify suitable replacements Team & Safety Contributions Maintain a clean, organized work area and company-issued tools Participate in cross-training to build knowledge of department equipment and processes Assist with training and supporting other team members Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations Work with outside contractors as needed Model professional, ethical, and safety-focused behavior Qualifications & Skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and urgent requests Solid math skills and ability to read schematics Basic troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to work overtime when required Hand tool experience is a plus Education & Experience A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required. Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands regularly Frequent lifting or moving of up to 40 lbs. Ability to talk, hear, and adjust visual focus as needed Work Environment Manufacturing/shop environment that is not climate-controlled and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and occasional chemicals Use of PPE or respirators may be required

Pay:

$20.60 per hour
