- Not qualified to cover shift.
- Be able to work any shift, including rotating, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Be an active participant in the safety process and practice safe work habits at all times.
- Inspect, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment throughout various departments in the facility.
- Maintain equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels.
- Identify any equipment issues and bring them to supervisors' attention.
- Participate in the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Operate with high level professionalism and teamwork orientation.
- Make out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc.
Team:
- The ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- The ability to pass written exam and skills test.
- Minimum requirement of high school level math, language and reasoning skills.
- 3-5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.
- The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and drawings.
- The proven ability to troubleshoot and handle multiple priorities and projects.
- The ability to write routine reports and correspondence legibly.
- The ability to operate various types of mobile equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, lift trucks, etc. and the ability to obtain a license to operate them.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, reach, and stoop frequently.
- The ability to manually lift at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
- The ability to work at heights.
- The ability to execute both fine and gross motor hand movements.
- The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
- The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
