Key Responsibilities Assemble complex automated machinery, systems, and subassemblies using mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components Read and interpret mechanical prints, engineering drawings, and pneumatic schematics Perform mechanical troubleshooting, alignment, and precision adjustment of moving components Collaborate with engineering, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment meets design and performance specifications Assist with equipment testing, debugging, and system startup Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to complete assembly work Support equipment installation and commissioning activities as needed Assist field service teams with customer-site installations when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred 5+ years of experience building automated machinery, packaging equipment, industrial equipment, or similar systems Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical prints, blueprints, and pneumatic schematics Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, controls, manufacturing, and field service teams #
