Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and monitoring industrial processing and production machinery. This position requires strong mechanical skills along with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities Install, repair, maintain, and monitor industrial production machinery Troubleshoot and maintain motors, conveyors, electrical systems, milling equipment, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment Troubleshoot electrical controls and identify faulty equipment Perform preventative maintenance to help minimize machine downtime Diagnose equipment problems through observation, testing, and troubleshooting Analyze machine test results and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications Assemble and align mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures Inspect parts for defects and damage Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect parts Source replacement parts and complete equipment repairs Maintain accurate records of machine service history and maintenance activities Maintain parts and tool inventory Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work orders and equipment maintenance Attend daily meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize production downtime Safely operate forklifts, hoists, hand tools, and power tools Prepare maintenance reports based on daily activities, trends, and analysis Work closely with management to improve production processes and equipment performance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls Comfortable working with computers and maintenance software Ability to operate hand, power, and specialized tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods Driver's license preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on, mechanically skilled professional who can quickly diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs, and help prevent machinery downtime. The ability to work safely, stay organized, and communicate effectively with the production team is essential.
